High water at Club Toxicara was at 2.40 so I got down early to get a parking space - just! I was first on the water. Very very gusty with massive confused chop over the shallows (wind against tide) which made it less than easy but hey, you can't complain when it's windy on a Saturday and it doesn't rain. Sometimes I was nearly blown off the water with a 5.5 but it was needed to get out there. Cambernet shows that the wind in a similar part of Chichester Harbour was 18 gusting up to 30 knots, which seems about right for Esso too.

Had a good 2 or 3 hours and eventually got some gybes nailed. It started to get very holey after high water so I packed in early. One or two celebs on the water doing flappy things. Three and a half stars as not really a good performance.
